In the early days of diecast, not many fox body Mustangs were available. With the growing popularity of the Fox, the diecast companies have released several versions if the different years. Here are a few of some custom and restored versions of the Fox. Here are a few 1/64th scale castings of various brands that have been reworked, restored, and customized.

Almost every year of the Fox is available now from 1979 to 1993. From the off brand to the top of the line Auto Worlds. Some of the off brands are nicely proportioned and really look good with high end wheels and detail.

1982 Mustang GT

This was an off brand casting of the 82 GT Mustang. The first year for the return of the GT. Proportions were very good and new paint, detail and Greenlight wheels were added to create this version. Also an M2 hood scoop brought it to life.

Greenlight Fox

This casting of a coupe was origionaly released as a police car version. The police tampos were carefully removed and some racing tires and wheels added to create this mean looking little Fox.

Johnny Lightning Fox

A handcrafted cowl hood and some resin cast hop up parts went on to get this Little Fox from the drawing board to the track.

Hot Wheels Fox

At first, this HW casting was a peg warmer when it was first released several years ago. As popularity of the fox grew it began flying off the shelves. If you are lucky enough to find this casting you may pay a pretty penny for it. This is a custom version also.

Hot Wheels Fox

Total make~over to this HW casting made one sweet looking ride. The major pieces were in pretty good shape for this restoration.

Hot Wheels Fox

A good friend did this little Fox up and sent it to me as an RAOK, (Random Act Of Kindness). Still one of my favorite customs today.

Hot Wheels Fox

Ran across this casting in a thrift store. It was in such bad shape, the cashier just gave it to me. No windows, no wheels, and no paint. Did the best I could with what was left of it.
