In this ever changing world of diecast, it is extremely hard to keep up with every car released and every series of cars. In this day it can also be very expensive. I have thinned out my collection a great deal and decided to buy and collect only what I think is good and what I admire.

These items pictured below will always be considered as "COOL" in my book. The first response thrill of first seeing them either on the pegs or a pic someone has posted on the net says a whole lot.

Greenlight Hitch & Tow Series

There are several variations out there by now, but these Hitch & Tows were so hot at first release I am surprised the pegs didn't catch fire.

1974 Dodge Monaco & Bambi Airstream Trailer

This little Bambi trailer was one that flew off the shelves. It is one cool little trailer and comes packed with hours of fun

Greenlight Durastar Tow Truck

These GL Tow trucks were and still are very, very cool. At first they seened a little on the large size for 1/64th scale, but compared to the real size ones, they looked very close

Greenlight Durastar Flatbed Tow Truck

These flatbed tow trucks are as cool as the tow trucks. Not very many functional parts, but still cool all the way

There's a new kid on the block

Auto World ~ These cars are advertised as true 1/64th scale. AW has been around for many years and these diecast cars are new from the company. Some of the most detailed and accurate diecast cars you will find in the 1/64th scales

Auto World 1967 Cadillac

A very fine replica of luxury from the past. Auto World didn't miss a detail on this one

Auto World Challenger T/A

The detail on this car is amazing right down to the emblems. The Panther Pink paint job really sets this new release car off to a tee.

Auto World 1964 Barracuda

An extermely gorgeous job AW did on this 1964 Barracuda.

I took a little black paint and black washed the wheels for more detail.

One of the absolute coolest

Bill "Grumpy" Jenking kept all of us gear heads on the edge with his screaming Chevrolets in his day. This Hall of Fame series from Hot Wheels will always be on my "FAV" list

Grumpy's Toy ~ 1967 Camaro

This replica of Grumpy's Toy in not exremely accurate, but close enough. Opening hood and rubber Real Rider tires

Grumpy in action

I have played with this one quite a bit. It photograps well in any kind of shot

Johnny Lightning Customizing Kits

There were several variations of these customizing kits released. You could build two complete cars of several different variations

Johnny Lightning 1970 Nova

This was the second complete car built from the JL Customizing kit. These kits were packed with hours of enjoyment

1963 Ford Falcon Sprint

This is one I looked high and low for for years. I found it from a seller on ebay and learned it was made by Yatming. Yatming closed their doors a few years ago and this one is no longer in production
